WQ Print Studio began in Lahore, grounded in craftsmanship and cultural rhythm.

Today, from our home in Milan’s vibrant fashion hub, we let creativity take flight through textile print design for fashion and home.

Each creation is a bloom — grown from roots that remember and a vision that reinvents, turning fabric into a story worth feeling.

  • Rooted in Lahore and alive in Milan, WQ Print Studio shapes stories in color from the heart of the world’s design capital.
We create original, trend-driven textile prints—crafted by hand, refined through research, and elevated by a global perspective sharpened in Europe’s fashion cities.

Our studio blends artistic intuition with professional precision: curated collections, bespoke print journeys, vintage digitisation, repeats, and colorways—each delivered with craftsmanship and clarity.
From Milan’s creative pulse, we design for brands across continents, offering soulful concepts grounded in industry expertise.

  • WQ Print Studio began in Lahore as a rough sketch in the mind of Waqas Qureshi—a single idea carried by instinct, curiosity, and an unwavering love for textile storytelling.
What started as Pakistan’s first independent hand-painted print studio soon grew into a voice recognized far beyond its origins.

Our early years brought global attention:
    — Featured in Monsa Publications’ The Pattern Book, among 100 designers worldwide—the only one from the region.
    — Spotlighted in an Italian magazine (2014) for trend insight and creative direction.
    — Covered by Mint Magazine (2015).
    — Selected by The Pattern Cloud (2016) as an emerging studio to watch.

In 2019, we became the first studio from Pakistan to exhibit at the premium fashion fair in Paris—standing alongside leading print studios and printing houses from around the world. That moment placed us firmly on the global map and opened doors to international collaborations.

Since then, we’ve presented our work at Première Vision Paris, Printsource New York, and Heimtextil Frankfurt, one exhibition at a time expanding the presence of South Asian creative excellence. Our detailed ethnic, paisley, sari, and folklore prints became our signature—yet our handwriting constantly evolves, weaving new styles, themes, and cultural textures.

To strengthen our international voice, we now collaborate with designers from London, Paris, Barcelona, and Como, enriching our collections with global nuance while staying true to our roots.

Our work has travelled further than we ever imagined—creating impact and solid sales for French brands and boutiques, and becoming a trusted creative partner for renowned Italian and Spanish manufacturers who value originality, depth, and trend-driven thinking.

What began as an idea in Lahore has grown into a studio that bridges continents, cultures, and creative possibilities.

  • I was shaped by Lahore’s warmth and Milan’s discipline—guided by formal training in art, design, and business from some of the best institutions in both worlds.
My journey has been a weaving of travel, teaching, and creation; of ideas collected from cities, museums, markets, airports, and the quiet corners where inspiration hides.

For more than a decade, I’ve taught young designers—believing that creativity thrives when shared, and that our industry grows only when we invest in the next generation. Handmade impressions, imperfections, and intuitive marks anchor my philosophy; innovation and imagination push it forward.

I now build from Milan—the design capital of the world—bringing global perspective to my team and clients, while keeping the soul of Lahore close. Travel keeps my ideas fresh; teaching keeps my purpose grounded; design keeps my hands alive.

  • To merge art, design, mentorship, and travel into experiences that open worlds for young creatives.
To build bridges between Italy and Pakistan—through fashion, textiles, and design education.
To lead curated design tours, learning journeys, and immersive workshops across Europe’s creative cities.
To exhibit conceptual works in Milan and Paris Design Week, stepping into a space where print becomes poetry, research becomes narrative, and culture becomes craft.

This is the future we are building—one where print design is not just a service, but a movement of ideas travelling freely between continents.
